Requirements

• Bilingual in Spanish
• Master's or doctoral degree from an accredited university or graduate program in psychiatric mental health nursing
• Active NY Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) license with child and adolescent specialization or experience with children and adolescents

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 medication management
• Conduct evaluations, assessments, and follow-ups
• Obtain and accurately document relevant health histories with emphasis on mental health
• Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations
• Prescribe psychotropic and related medications based on clinical indicators
• Educate clients, and family members if appropriate, on a variety of health-related topics
