Requirements

• Bilingual in Spanish
• Master's or doctoral degree from an accredited university or graduate program in psychiatric mental health nursing
• Active NY Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) license with child and adolescent specialization or experience with children and adolescents

Responsibilities

• 1:1 medication management, evaluations, assessments, and follow-ups
• Obtains and accurately documents relevant health histories, with emphasis on mental health
• Performs comprehensive psychiatric evaluations
• Prescribes psychotropic and related medications based on clinical indicators
• Educates clients, and family members if appropriate, on a variety of health-related topics

Preferred Qualifications

Hybrid - 1 day a week in person preferred
