Join Nava Benefits, a modern benefits brokerage, as a Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) Benefits Analyst for a 6-month, full-time contract role (40 hours/week), potentially extendable. This remote position, open to US-based candidates, focuses on behind-the-scenes project work supporting Large Group Client Success teams. You will build renewal workbooks, draft benefit communications (English and Spanish), conduct peer reviews, assist with benchmarking and plan design, and support open enrollment materials preparation. No direct client interaction is involved. The ideal candidate possesses strong attention to detail and thrives in structured project work.
Requirements
- You are fluent in both English and Spanish , with strong written communication skills in both languages

- You’re familiar with brokerage operations and benefits deliverables
- 3–10 years of experience in a benefits analyst, account manager or similar role within a benefits brokerage or consulting environment required
- Professional fluency in Spanish and English (written and verbal)
- Strong Excel skills and the ability to work comfortably in Google Suite
- Experience drafting benefits-related documents such as SPD/SBCs, ERISA Wraps, and enrollment materials in both languages
- Understanding of financial structures such as fully insured, level-funded, self-funded, and captive plans
- Detail-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership and follow-through
- Availability to commit to a full-time (40-hour/week) contract position
Responsibilities
- Build renewal workbooks, perform spreadsheeting and data validation
- Draft benefit communications (in English and Spanish) and support compliance-related documentation (e.g., ERISA Wrap documents)
- Conduct peer reviews and quality checks for internal deliverables
- Assist in benchmarking, plan design analysis, and rate modeling
- Support the preparation of open enrollment materials and benefits communications in English and Spanish
- Completing ad hoc benefits projects across the team as needed
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with large group plans (100–5,000 MELs), California and New York market experience a plus
