Blockchain Wallet Developer

Summary

Join our team as a senior Blockchain Developer with heavy focus on Wallet and play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and securing blockchain solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Proven track record of developing and deploying blockchain solutions for both the Bitcoin and Ethereum networks, with a strong emphasis on cryptography
• In-depth knowledge of blockchain protocols, consensus mechanisms, cryptographic algorithms, and Bitcoin Lightning Network architecture
• Strong grasp of advanced cryptography concepts, including encryption, digital signatures, zero-knowledge proofs, and secure multi-party computation
• Expertise in Lightning Network nodes, channel management, and routing protocols
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to addressing complex technical challenges
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to convey intricate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Collaboration with SELF’s lead architect on private key systems that support and grow SELF product digital asset creation/storage and transfer
• Contributor to initiatives focused on products that interface effectively/efficiently with consensus mechanisms (proof of work, proof of stake, etc.)
• Implementation of advanced wallet/private key components (multisig, key sharing, and hardware security models)
• Staying at the forefront of blockchain and cryptography research, staying informed about emerging trends, technologies, and best practices to drive continuous innovation within the company
