Blockend Engineer

Summary

Enso is seeking a self-motivated Backend Engineer to help build and scale their next-generation infrastructure. The role involves creating backend services that interact with contracts on multiple chains, researching and integrating DeFi protocols, writing documentation, and pitching ideas for improvement. Requirements include significant backend engineering experience, strong proficiency with Node.js and Typescript, understanding of Ethereum, its JSON RPC, and EVM, security-focused development, and proficient understanding of code versioning such as Git.

Responsibilities

• Create backend services that interact with contracts on multiple chains
• Work closely with the Smart Contracts team to improve contracts and how they are used
• Work with the internal team to prepare backend services deployments
• Research, and integrate DeFi protocols
• Pitch ideas for improving services, processes, and product
• Write (or generate!) documentation

Preferred Qualifications

• You understand how your code impacts Product and Users
• You can write smart contracts in Solidity
• You have experience and/or interest in Rust
