Summary

Join a purpose-driven engineering firm and become a Client/Control Systems Design Engineer. As part of a talented team, you will design instrumentation and control systems for state-of-the-art data centers, encompassing high-level conceptual designs, detailed site designs, and construction verification. Responsibilities include designing building management systems, developing control system sequences, specifying equipment, selecting networking components, reviewing submittals, conducting field inspections, collaborating with teams, managing tasks, and occasional travel. The firm offers a dynamic work environment, exciting projects, and a culture of innovation. This is a design engineering role, not a data engineering role.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Design Building Management Systems (Client) with precision and efficiency
  • Develop control system sequences of operations
  • Specify process instrumentation, PLCs, and HMI equipment
  • Select networking components (copper, fiber, wireless hardware)
  • Review submittals and conduct field inspections
  • Collaborate with engineering teams, clients, vendors, and contractors
  • Manage tasks and coordinate project execution
  • Occasional travel to project sites for meetings and field inspections

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Professional Engineering License
