Summary

Join Neo4j's Brand & Creative Services team as a highly-driven creative professional. Partner with the Director of Brand Strategy & Creative and Principal Brand Designer to elevate Neo4j's brand presence. Leverage your expertise in creative direction, concept development, and illustration to produce high-quality work aligned with brand guidelines. Collaborate with internal teams and agency partners, providing mentorship and guidance to junior designers. Stay abreast of industry trends and advocate for creative solutions that resonate with technical audiences. Requirements

  • Provide a link + password to your portfolio of multi-channel tech / B2B work
  • 7+ years of global in-house creative development experience in the B2B technology space
  • Design/ Creative degree or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience partnering with creative professionals across the org
  • A vision for creative excellence and the ability to navigate through ambiguity to progress that vision through creative execution in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfort with digital creative development processes, standards and specs
  • Proficiency in Figma, Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Experience with project management tools (like Asana) and virtual collaboration platforms (like Slack, Zoom, Google Drive/ Slides/ Docs, etc.)
  • Confidence presenting creative ideas and concepts in a compelling manner
  • Results orientation in a high-growth, fast paced environment with a track record of delivering high-caliber brand/ creative work under tight deadlines
  • Ability to problem-solve, comfortably wearing many hats as a self-starter
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a dynamic environment with our dedicated team

Responsibilities

  • Provide problem-solving creative direction, inspiration, and guidance, consulting with creative professionals across the org (UX, UI, Product & DevRel) to ensure the highest quality of work is produced at scale while adhering to brand guidelines
  • Support the development of innovative, integrated, and cross-channel creative concepts that resonate with our primary audiences, including heavily technical audiences like developers
  • Utilize illustration experience to convey technical concepts in abstract ways via infographics, blog headers & presentations
  • Be an active participant in the growth and development of the production designers on the team, providing mutual mentorship, feedback, and opportunities for both skill and perspective enhancement
  • Be a creative thinker with an ability to infuse business needs into design solutions. Thoughtfully thread the visual language of an idea across relevant touchpoints and tactics, working closely with our expanding ecosystem of brand owners to deliver cohesive, impactful work. Advocate for your creative work to a variety of cross-functional stakeholders including creative peers, brand leadership and executive staff
  • Stay current with industry trends, consumer insights, and emerging technologies to inform creative ideation and decisioning
  • Serve as a thought partner to the Principal Brand Designer & Director of Brand Strategy & possess a natural ability to inspire othersโ€“ including every employeeโ€“ to be a brand owner, while building enthusiasm for the Neo4j brand. Use visual design, creative ideation, compositional sensibilities, typographic rules, and user journey optimization to translate creative concepts into materials for our internal teams and external existing/ prospective customers
  • Champion consistency of our brand voice and style across the entire brand ecosystem (from booth designs to blog headers, etc)
  • Assist brand program manager in maintaining our growing roster of creative enablement tools. These include our brand hub & guidelines, our digital asset management library, our Canva templates, as well as our Miro & Figma business/ marketing icon libraries
  • Unblock in-house creative teams through ongoing, globally-tiered resource calibration & agency engagement for scale
  • Partner with our Corporate Marketing Creative Operations lead and leadership to launch and deliver engaging brand trainings for all new employees & agencies, and other experiences that incentivize brand ownership across Neo4j
  • Maintain an interest in and curiosity around optimization- how can we iterate to improve creative performance and brand experience, working closely with marketing operations, web and third parties to uncover performance measures and deliver refinements
  • Maintain a global perspective with deep experience with event/ trade show creative, demand gen creative, presentation design, customer stories, explainer videos and brand campaigns
  • Bring a strong, experience-driven POV while fostering equally strong working relationships across teamsโ€“ including the ability to welcome input from diverse perspectives in a way that drives participation and partnership

Preferred Qualifications

  • Adobe After Effects, other video / motion / 3D / animation tools
  • Collaborative partner who is conversant with brand management and activation across multiple marketing channels and audiences
  • Experience building and/or managing a global brand; participating in large-scale creative projects and processes across business functions to adopt, manage, and evolve brand standards
