Summary

Join IXL Learning's Rosetta Stone Language Tutoring Team as a British-UK English Language Tutor! This fully remote, part-time position offers the opportunity to facilitate engaging online tutoring sessions for learners of all ages and skill levels. You will deliver high-quality instruction, provide actionable feedback, and adapt sessions to meet individual needs. The ideal candidate is a native British-UK English speaker with a Bachelor's degree, teaching experience, and strong technological proficiency. This role requires flexibility to work 10-15 hours per week, including one weekend shift, with weekday shifts between 9 pm and 2 am GMT. You'll be part of a passionate, collaborative team dedicated to making a positive impact on learners' lives.

Requirements

• Native British - UK English speaker
• Proven flexibility in schedule to meet the hours outlined in the above overview
• Completion of Bachelor's degree
• Strong proficiency with technology and web conferencing platforms, including corresponding troubleshooting abilities
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, ability to teach grammar concepts
• Must be comfortable with technology and have access to broadband Internet from a personal computer (wired internet connection required)

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality tutoring sessions in all products offered by Rosetta Stone
• Prepare and adapt sessions to meet the needs of both child and adult learners
• Provide actionable feedback in sessions to learners for areas of improvement

Preferred Qualifications

• Teaching and/or tutoring experience preferred (familiarity with Rosetta Stone platforms desired)
• TEFL certification preferred
• Exceptional presentation skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills - dynamic, enthusiastic, upbeat individual who connects well with others and has a positive, collaborative attitude
