Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Accounting, Business, Criminal Justice, or Finance
- Knowledge of BSA/AML/CFT and OFAC regulatory requirements and at least 2-4 years of related experience
- Familiarity with banking products and services, payments, e-commerce, Fintech, sanctions, and/or trade finance
- Expertise in Microsoft products such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Understanding of data structure and usage within reporting and systems
- Strong analytical, research, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Flexible and creative thinker who can learn independently and function in a fast-paced environment
- Skilled at organizing priorities, managing multiple complex projects at one time, and meeting deadlines
- Collaboration with other business units to manage compliance risks
Responsibilities
- Complete compliance reviews on business lines to evaluate compliance with applicable laws and regulations and company policy
- Assess adequacy of internal controls and assist with remediation as applicable
- Develop supporting documentation including procedures, workpapers, reports, and other supplemental documentation
- Serve as the subject matter expert to ensure documents, projects, processes or product initiatives comply with regulatory and legal requirements, as well as enterprise policy
- Assist in developing comprehensive line of business guidelines regarding BSA/AML/CFT compliance
- Work with business lines to implement and support BSA/AML/CFT initiatives, provide business lines with necessary support including training and process documentation
- Consult with the first line of defense by assisting in answering questions, providing technical advice and issue resolution
- Aid in the evaluation of new products and services, processes, and procedures to ensure requirements of the BSA and OFAC are met
- Assist with the development and delivery of online and instructor led training materials for compliance-based training
- Implement new procedures and tools with team members
- Assist with the enterprise BSA/AML/CFT and OFAC Risk Assessment processes including analyzing the risks associated with assigned business lines and remediating as necessary
- Ensure compliance with third-party contractual obligations around service delivery
- Stay current on financial services products and regulatory landscape
- Review laws and regulations for business impact
- Perform other duties or special projects as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- CAMS certification preferred or willingness to acquire
- Knowledge of PowerBI, ThoughtSpot, Archer, OFAC screening solutions, and/or vendor solutions that support identity verification
