Business Data Analyst - BI/PBM Rebates

Summary

Join Techstra Solutions as a Business Data Analyst and contribute to a major BI transformation focused on PBM Rebates. You will work with cloud-based BI technologies and a state-of-the-art platform in an Agile environment, collaborating with technical and non-technical teams. This remote position requires experience with PBM and rebates data structures and business processes. You will document business needs, inventory reporting assets, and support the migration to a next-gen BI platform. The role involves designing UAT testing plans, developing training materials, and advocating for best practices in data visualization. You will report to the Delivery Manager and deliver within Agile methodologies.

Requirements

• 7+ yrs Data Analysis
• 5+ yrs PBM (Pharmacy Benefit Management)
• 3+ yrs PBM Rebates
• 5+ yrs Business Intelligence (BI) / Reporting
• 5+ yrs MicroStrategy or similar enterprise BI tools

Responsibilities

• Document and translate business needs into technical requirements for BI/reporting tools
• Collect and organize an inventory of existing reporting assets
• Act as a liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring clear communication of goals and deliverables
• Design and execute UAT testing plans in collaboration with QA and development teams
• Develop training materials and facilitate end-user training sessions
• Advocate for best practices in data visualization and storytelling
• Assist the Rebates Product Lead in the design, documentation, and development of BI/Reporting solutions
• Document business and technical requirements (user stories, BRDs) for BI/reporting in the PBM rebates domain
• Provide subject-matter expertise in PBM Rebates to guide reporting assets and solutions
• Support the migration of legacy BI tools to a new centralized BI platform
• Assist in testing, training, and change management activities to ensure a successful transformation
