Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in business development, sales, or client-facing roles within the life sciences or biotech tools/services sector
- Familiarity with biomanufacturing and CMC functions, including cell line development, process development, or viral vector production
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with an ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment
- A team player mindset with a desire to learn, grow, and take ownership over time
- A Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Bioengineering, Biochemistry, or a related field; advanced degrees (MBA, MS) are a plus but not required
Responsibilities
- Support revenue growth by identifying and qualifying new opportunities with biopharma companies—primarily startups, growth-stage firms, and emerging commercial players
- Building and maintaining a healthy sales funnel, including lead generation, outbound outreach, and early-stage relationship development
- Assist in proposal development and deal structuring, while supporting client communications throughout the business development process
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical, legal, and operations, to align on partner needs, timelines, and deliverables
- Represent Asimov at industry events, webinars, and partnering meetings to increase visibility and build relationships
- Ensure CRM accuracy, track key sales metrics, and support internal reporting and process improvement initiatives
