Summary
Join KMK, a global data analytics and technology consulting company, and contribute to empowering leaders in the Life Sciences industry. As a data analyst, you will develop and manage dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using BI tools. You will analyze sales trends, market performance, and customer behavior to identify opportunities and risks. Your responsibilities include data management, ensuring data accuracy and integrity, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will also monitor market trends and competitor activities to provide actionable intelligence. This role requires strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with experience in business intelligence and the pharmaceutical industry.
Requirements
- 4-7 years of experience in business intelligence or data analytics, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry
- Proficiency in BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, QlikView, etc.) and advanced Excel skills
- Strong SQL and data modeling capabilities
- Solid understanding of pharmaceutical market dynamics, including knowledge of pharma market data sources such as IQVIA, IMS Health, or Symphony Health
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical audiences
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing business challenges
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView
- Analyze sales trends, market performance, and customer behavior to identify opportunities and risks
- Provide insights to support strategic decision-making for marketing campaigns, product launches, and portfolio management
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security by collaborating with IT and data engineering teams
- Manage large datasets from internal and external sources, including CRM systems, market intelligence platforms, and supply chain databases
- Support the implementation and optimization of data warehouses and ETL processes
- Work closely with cross-functional teams such as marketing, sales, R&D, and operations to understand their data needs and provide tailored solutions
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment on BI initiatives
- Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities to provide actionable intelligence
- Support forecasting and scenario planning based on industry insights
- Identify and implement best practices in BI processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Train team members and stakeholders on the use of BI tools and data interpretation
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Python or R
- Familiarity with statistical analysis and predictive modeling techniques
