C Engineer

Summary

Join Pico's world-leading engineering team to design and develop new features across their product range. Work on ultra-low latency market data and order execution solutions. Requires BSc/MSc in relevant Engineering discipline, proficiency in C and/or C++ under Linux, knowledge of multi-threaded application development, excellent communication skills, at least 1 year experience in a Tech firm (preferably financial), and team player.

Requirements

• BSc/MSc in a relevant Engineering discipline (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, etc)
• Proficiency in C and/or C++ development under Linux
• Knowledge of multi-threaded application development
• Insatiable appetite for problem-solving and learning about technology
• Team player - excels in a collaborative environment while using initiative to the team’s benefit
• Focus on writing maintainable code
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
• Ability to ask for help, take advice, and incorporate constructive feedback
• This role is office-based, minimum expectation is hybrid office/remote work
• 1+ years of experience working in a Tech firm, preferably in the financial space

Responsibilities

Design and develop new features across Pico’s entire product range

Preferred Qualifications

• Python programming
• Java programming
• IP networking
• Knowledge of Financial trading concepts (orders, trades, quotes, etc) and protocols, including FIX
