Summary

Belmont Lavan Ltd is seeking a skilled Cable Harness Designer with 2D schematic expertise to join their team on a contract basis. This hybrid position requires occasional on-site presence and offers flexibility in terms of location.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Cable Harness Designer with expertise in 2D schematic design
• Proficient in using design software such as AutoCAD Electrical, Zuken E3.series, or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of electrical and wiring principles, as well as industry standards and regulations
• Ability to interpret technical specifications and create accurate and detailed wiring diagrams
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in design work
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines
• Flexibility to work remotely and occasionally travel to on-site locations

Responsibilities

• Design and develop cable harnesses and wiring systems based on project requirements and specifications
• Create accurate and detailed 2D schematics and wiring diagrams
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, technicians, and suppliers to ensure optimal design solutions
• Conduct testing and verification of cable harness designs for functionality and compliance
• Perform revisions and updates to cable harness designs as necessary
• Stay updated on industry trends, standards, and best practices related to cable harness design
• Provide technical support and guidance to manufacturing and installation teams
