DIS-TRAN Steel is seeking a CAD Operator I to join their team in Pineville, LA. The role involves creating drawings and coordinating with engineers for steel structure fabrication. Requires AutoCAD skills, strong math background, and a high school diploma (preferably with a technical 2-year degree).

Requirements

• High school diploma required; technical 2-year degree in AutoCAD preferred
• AutoCAD experience and technical competency is required
• A strong math background is required for this position

Responsibilities

• Creates erection and detailed drawings of steel structures for fabrication
• Coordinates with Engineers and Project Coordinators to translate drawings and / or correct errors as needed by the Plant
