Camera Operator/Camera Team Producer

Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Camera Operator/Camera Team Producer and work closely with the Camera Team Lead to produce high-quality content for our YouTube channel. This hybrid role requires both producing and camera skills, and you will be an integral part of the pre-production process.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of Google Sheets/Excel
• Experience in camera operation and/or production roles
• Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail
• Ability to work well under pressure and adapt quickly to changing circumstances
• Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Willingness to learn and grow within the role
• Ability to work well within a team and support team members in achieving collective goals

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Camera Team Lead to plan all aspects of video production
• Strategically decide where cameras should be placed to best capture the creative vision of each video
• Serve as the primary point of contact with contractors, and vendors for each video
• Oversee the budget for the camera team, ensuring that all expenditures are within the allocated budget while maintaining the highest quality standards
• Conduct thorough checks on camera, lighting, and audio equipment before each shoot to ensure everything is in optimal working condition
• Quickly identify and resolve any issues that may arise during the production process
• Maintain a high level of organization and be able to pivot and adapt to changes on short notice
• Work effectively with the entire production team, fostering a collaborative and positive working environment
• Guide and support team members as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous leadership experience
• Familiarity with YouTube content creation
• Part 107 certified
