Summary

Terrascope is seeking a Carbon Data Analyst Intern to assist their Data Analyst team and provide ad-hoc client support in a role that involves emission source materiality research, benchmarking research, data transformation, PDF extraction, translation reviews, participating in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and other collaborative activities. The ideal candidate should be currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in data, analytics, or a related field, have strong analytical skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, Python, and other data analysis tools, be comfortable with multitasking in a deadline-driven environment, have strong attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and value diversity.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in data, analytics, or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, Python, and other data analysis tools
• Strong desire to learn along with professional drive, and ability to work collaboratively
• Comfortable with multitasking in a deadline-driven environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Conduct emission source materiality research
• Conduct benchmarking research
• Work with our teams to create customer demos
• Be responsible for data transformation and PDF extraction
• Assist with translation reviews
• Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions and other collaborative activities
