Card Risk Prevention Specialist

Summary

Join Jeeves, a leading financial operating system company, as a Payments Team member responsible for managing risk prevention in card and payment operations. This role is crucial for ensuring Jeeves operates with best fraud prevention practices while providing excellent user experiences. Based in Bogota, Colombia, this full-time remote position requires a strategic and hands-on approach to risk and fraud prevention. You will structure fraud prevention strategies, manage processes and technologies, collaborate with partners, and work closely with business teams to define authorization rules. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in card risk prevention and a proven ability to create and improve processes.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience working with risk prevention of cards
• International professional experience
• Experience creating and improving processes and documentation
• Fluent in English, Jeeves is a global company and English is the language we use internally to communicate between regions
• Intermediate Spanish or Portuguese as this position will manage different LAC countries
• Agile and able to pivot quickly with the changing environment
• Collaborative and team oriented

Responsibilities

• Structure strategy for fraud prevention, detection, remediation and repression
• Manage processes, policies, technologies and controls to minimize losses
• Manage partners and providers to ensure the use of best technologies and operational processes
• Make the risk prevention area a business partner, aiming to enable secure solutions
• Manage Jeeves fraud prevention tools, configuring rules and monitoring it on a regular basis
• Working with business team and issuer processor to define authorization rules
• Deal with fraud alerts
• Provide guidance on chargeback issues
• Understand all processes related to cards in order to identify and mitigate risks
• Structure and document new processes
