Cardiologist

Requirements

• MD required in Cardiovascular field
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Highly organized
• Excellent problem-solving and decision making skills
• 3-5 years medical experience and / or clinical research experience

Responsibilities

• Adjudicate cardiodynamic ECGs in a timely and blinded manner
• Cardiologist review of Safety ECGs
• Review of Holters reports or other cardiovascular safety data for clinical trials
• Be available for consultation on any cardiovascular, clinical or core laboratory findings that require a cardiology opinion and recommendations
• Notify the PI or their designee for any potentially serious adverse clinical events observed during review of cardiovascular data
• Attend monthly core laboratory staff meetings
• Remain compliant on all PGs, SOPs and training requirements
• Maintain continuing education and licensing requirements as dictated by the state in which they are licensed to practice medicine
• Participate in yearly quality assessment exercises to ensure clinical competence and reading skills
• Provide input into core laboratory processes and procedures to enhance accuracy, precision and efficiency
• Conduct other reasonable duties as assigned
