Summary
Join Little Otter's Care Navigation Team as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and contribute to our mission of bringing expert mental health care to children and families nationwide. Working remotely, you will conduct introductory calls with families, assist them in selecting providers and scheduling sessions, and navigate non-clinical aspects of care through our platform. You will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless and supportive experience for families while collaborating with the clinical team. Requirements
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- At least 2 years of experience working with children and families
- Experience and confidence in using electronic medical records & technology systems
Responsibilities
- Using clinical engagement skills, conduct introductory Kickoff Calls with incoming Little Otter families to welcome them to our platform, identify specific needs, schedule, and connect them with Little Otter services
- Assist families in selecting the appropriate provider based on availability, clinical needs, and preferences while scheduling initial sessions
- Assist families as they navigate all non-clinical aspects of care through the Little Otter platform and care system, including scheduling, and other care-related questions
- Create a warm and supportive first impression during the Kickoff call by answering questions, addressing concerns, and clearly outlining the care process, available services, and next steps to ensure families understand what to expect
- Reinforce the importance of connecting families into care quickly by scheduling care sessions
- Gather insights from Kickoff calls and share feedback with internal teams to improve workflows, scripts, and the overall family experience
- Provide administrative support to families by managing scheduling and rescheduling of services while serving as an integral part of the care team to ensure seamless coordination and communication
- Facilitating collaborative care and providing support to the clinical team
- Ensure all scheduling interactions are properly documented and follow up with families as needed to confirm appointments
Preferred Qualifications
- Model empathetic support and feedback when you work with parents & caregivers
- Comfortable with technology and want to improve the way that tech can empower families and providers
- Comfortable delivering email-based, chat-based and/or video-based support to families
- Excited to partner with software engineers and a coordinated care team to provide high-quality care to families
- Believe strongly in multi-disciplinary care and measurement-based methods
- Interested in learning and collaborating with the best early childhood mental health professionals in the country
- Self-directed and feel comfortable in a startup environment that is changing and growing quickly
- Excited to solve problems and take charge in connecting families into quality mental health care on a digital platform
