In the Category Management team, a Category Manager's primary duty is to build and realize assortment strategies, coordinate product sourcing and launches, analyze sales data, and stay updated on industry trends. The required qualifications include project management skills, 3 years of experience in procurement, assortment or brand management, customer focus, excellent quantitative problem-solving skills, good Excel skills, accuracy, self-motivation, attention to detail, a willingness to learn, and a motivation for success.

Requirements

  • Project management skills
  • 3 year experience in procurement, assortment or brand management
  • Customer focus to maximize business results, capability to develop and influence strategy at senior levels both for customers and manufactures
  • Excellent quantitative problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Good Excel skills
  • Being accurate to details
  • An independent sense of self-motivation
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a dynamic start-up environment
  • Attention to detail, a willingness to learn and a motivation for success
  • Excellent command of English

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic plans for specific product categories
  • Determine the range of products to be offered within assigned categories
  • Monitor and optimize assortment proposal in our catalog to maximize sales while minimizing other teams involvements into catalog support
  • Set pricing strategies for negotiations with Partners and monitor competitive pricing to drive sales and profitability
  • Plan and execute promotional activities to increase category performance
  • Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer insights to identify growth opportunities
  • Collaborate with teams to enhance product category pages, search functionality, and overall customer experience
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and emerging market opportunities
