Summary

Join our health and safety team as a CDM Consultant and contribute to sustainable development in the UK. This role requires experience as a Principal Designer/CDM professional, ideally with a design background. You will deliver high-quality consultancy services, manage client relationships, and work collaboratively with colleagues across various markets. Requirements

  • Qualified to degree level (or equivalent) in construction/design related discipline
  • NEBOSH Construction (or equivalent) and/or H&S qualifications
  • Professional affiliation with APS, IOSH or CIOB
  • Broad sector experience supporting Clients with CDM strategies, fulfilling client duties and acting as Principal Designer (defined under the Construction, Design and Management Regulations 2015)
  • Knowledgeable in design risk management process and techniques
  • Possession of good technical writing, communication and client-facing skills

Responsibilities

  • Delivering Principal Designer/Client CDM Adviser services in a multi-disciplinary project environment
  • In house CDM advisor to UK Ramboll markets including Buildings, Highways, Transport, Energy, Environment & Health, Water and Managing Consulting
  • Working with colleagues to develop and market broad construction risk management services, both in the UK and overseas
  • Proposal and Client services development
  • Establish close links with engineering/design groups across Ramboll UK
  • Supporting wider H&S projects as required
