Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program (American Occupational Therapy Association)
• Certified through the National Certification Examination of the American Occupational Therapy Association
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant
• Current CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Assist in developing and implementing therapeutic treatment plans tailored to patient needs
• Instruct patients in activities of daily living (ADLs) to improve functional abilities
• Document patient progress, ensuring accurate and timely records
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques to continue progress at home
• Monitor patient response to treatment, adjusting techniques as necessary
