Summary
Join Vonage's Business Critical Transformation (BCT) Office as a CFIUS Technical Writer. You will collaborate with team members to create understandable content from complex information for internal and external use. Responsibilities include maintaining documentation, gathering technical information, and working with engineers to produce quality materials. This role requires five years of experience as a technical writer in similar programs, understanding of basic grammar, CFIUS/regulatory experience, and the ability to engage with technical teams. Requirements
- Five (5) years’ experience as a Tech Writer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required
- Understand basic concepts (to include basic grammar concepts), responsible for writing technical copy for various types of documents
- CFIUS / regulatory experience (must be able to write documentation for government regulatory / legal audiences)
- Ability / comfort engaging with technical, engineering, and product teams is very important
Responsibilities
- Maintain operations documentation, user guides and manuals and technical publications
- Gather and document technical information
- Maintain internal documentation library
- Work with product and software engineers and developers to produce quality documentation and training materials
- Research highly technical subject matter, organize information from multiple sources, and express technical information in written form that is comprehensible to a wide audience of readers
- Apply concepts for technical writing based on engineering drawings, technical information from engineering documentation, consultations with engineers and subject matter experts, and other available sources
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline required
- Experience utilizing LucidChart or a similar diagramming software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
