CFO & Financial Controller

Requirements

• Must have experience with high-growth SaaS companies, particularly in scaling through stages from 0 to 1, 1 to 10, or 10 to 100
• Proven experience as a CFO, Financial Controller, or in a senior finance role within a high-growth, global tech company
• Strong knowledge of USA & India financial systems, accounting principles, and international regulatory standards
• Hands-on experience managing financial operations and reporting processes
• Demonstrated success in fundraising, managing investor relations, and capital markets
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy to support rapid growth and global expansion
• Provide insights and recommendations to the executive team and board of directors on financial planning, risk management, and business performance
• Lead fundraising efforts, including capital planning, investor relations, and funding strategies
• Manage and optimize financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance processes
• Oversee accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger
• Ensure compliance with international accounting standards, tax regulations, and audit requirements
• Take ownership of month-end and year-end close processes
• Implement and maintain scalable financial systems and processes
• Perform financial analyses to identify growth opportunities and operational efficiencies
• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance and accounting team
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial goals with business objectives
• Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO, executive team, and board on all financial matters

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA, CFA, CA, or MBA in Finance
• Demonstrated aptitude and experience in leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity
