Remote CFO/VP of Finance

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in finance and accounting, including 4+ years in a managerial role within international business environments
• Audit skills, including overseeing audits for a group of companies, negotiating in controversial situations, and applying practical knowledge of IFRS principles
• Proficiency in budgeting, long-term planning, and financial modeling
• Expertise in international taxation, covering transfer pricing and strategies, tax planning, M&A tax planning, tax controversy resolution, and tax compliance automation
• Demonstrated success in process optimization, automation, and ERP implementation
• Strong motivation to build highly efficient and scalable operations
• Strategic thinking, strong decision-making, and effective interpersonal and influencing skills
• Proficiency in English (C1+)

Responsibilities

• Drive optimization of finance, accounting, and neighboring processes
• Own ERP and financial data systems, while leading automation and robotization of routine business processes
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with investors, auditors, banks, and key vendors
• Enhance a planning culture through forecasting, budgeting, and extending the role of Finance & Accounting as a strategic business partner for other departments
• Plan corporate structure changes, implement a cost-efficient approach to resource use and liquidity/treasury management
• Lead finance and accounting teams, planning resources for business scaling
• Evolve the team structure by assessing processes and areas of responsibility, and designing a system for team motivation and development
• Act as an executive representative of the team in developing strategic goals, and ensure finance and accounting teams' involvement in key business processes
• Continuously assess financial risks and develop risk mitigation strategies

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in the technology or SaaS industry
• Familiarity with local tax laws and Local GAAP in key jurisdictions (UK, US, Switzerland, Spain, Germany, Poland, Brazil, China, Australia)
