Summary

Zimperium is seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Enterprise Architect to lead its global R&D team in designing and implementing secure, scalable, and efficient solutions for their mobile security products and services. The position is based in either the EMEA or APAC regions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, or a related field
  • 10+ years in a leadership role within a cybersecurity-focused organization
  • Extensive expertise in mobile and web development frameworks and methodologies (e.g., React Native, Angular, Node.js, C++, Swift, Kotlin, Java etc.)
  • Strong proficiency in data engineering technologies, including data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehousing (e.g., Apache Spark, Kafka, Hadoop, etc.)
  • Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, protocols, and best practices, with experience in threat modeling, vulnerability assessment, and incident response
  • Demonstrated ability to design and architect secure, scalable, and resilient systems, with a focus on confidentiality, integrity, and availability
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing technical challenges

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic guidance and technical leadership to the development team, ensuring alignment with company goals and industry best practices
  • Design and architect robust, scalable, and secure solutions for cybersecurity products and services, encompassing mobile and web applications and data engineering pipelines
  • Lead efforts to identify potential security vulnerabilities and implement measures to mitigate risks across all aspects of the technology stack
  • Collaborate closely with product management, engineering, and research teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and tools relevant to cybersecurity, mobile and web development, and data engineering, recommending adoption where appropriate to enhance product capabilities and security posture
  • Oversee code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards, security protocols, and best practices to maintain high-quality deliverables
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering their professional growth and promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement
  • Assess and manage technical risks associated with product development and deployment, implementing strategies to mitigate potential vulnerabilities and threats
  • Stay abreast of relevant cybersecurity regulations and compliance standards, ensuring that products and solutions adhere to applicable requirements

Preferred Qualifications

Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, GCP Cloud Architect etc.) are a plus
