Summary

Join PDMI as their Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and lead their enterprise security strategy, focusing on patient data protection, secure AI adoption, and shaping their future in healthcare technology. Lead the creation and refinement of robust security policies, monitor adherence to security protocols, and conduct comprehensive risk assessments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cutting-edge technology trends into strategic planning and guide the Information Technology Security team. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in information security, IT, or risk management
  • Minimum of 3+ years of leadership experience directly managing enterprise security functions
  • Proven expertise in cloud security architecture (AWS), preferably in the healthcare industry
  • Proven experience with AI/ML
  • Strong knowledge of security frameworks like NIST, ISO/IEC 27001
  • Professional security certification (e.g., CISSP, CISM)
  • Experience in agile (scaled) and other best in class development practices
  • Experience with vendor and contract negotiations / management including managed services
  • Experience with cloud computing across virtualized environments

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deploy a cloud-based security architecture, with a preference for AWS, in close collaboration with DevOps and Engineering teams to ensure the protection of PDMI's environment while keeping pace with emerging cybersecurity threats
  • Leverage AI and machine learning to enhance detection, response, and prevention of cyber threats in cloud environments
  • Lead the creation and continual refinement of robust security policies, ensuring that best practices are integrated across all business units and rigorously enforced through regular monitoring and updates
  • Monitor and verify that all technology platforms and systems adhere to established security protocols, promptly addressing any deviations or vulnerabilities to maintain a secure operational environment
  • Direct comprehensive assessments of information technology risks through scheduled audits and proactive investigations, swiftly identifying and mitigating threats while ensuring detailed documentation and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cutting-edge technology trends into strategic planning, offering insights and recommendations that align current capabilities with PDMI’s long-term digital transformation goals
  • Guide, mentor, and manage the Information Technology Security team, ensuring that team members are equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to protect PDMI’s critical assets
  • Provide AI leadership for secure and responsible use of AI platforms within PDMI and its client-facing products
