Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience as a senior-level CI/CD or DevOps engineer
- Deep hands-on experience designing and scripting Jenkins pipelines
- Proficiency with GitOps, Git (GitHub/GitLab), and GitHub Actions
- Strong scripting ability using Bash, Python, Groovy, JavaScript, and Node.js
- Familiarity with additional CI/CD tools such as CircleCI, Travis CI, and Azure DevOps
- Experience with pipeline definitions using Groovy and YAML
- Proficient in InterSystems HealthShare, Ensemble, Cache, and ObjectScript
- Solid understanding of HL7 v2, FHIR, and healthcare integration standards
- Strong knowledge of DevSecOps practices, including code signing, artifact verification, and secret management
- Proven experience supporting Agile, DevOps, and SAFe development environments
- Excellent troubleshooting, debugging, and communication skills
- Ability to manage and scale CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments and infrastructure stacks
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain Jenkins CI/CD pipelines for HealthShare-based applications and supporting services
- Automate build, test, and deployment processes for InterSystems HealthShare components (e.g., HL7 interfaces, FHIR services, custom business logic)
- Implement DevSecOps best practices, including Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Define and implement alerting and logging strategies to ensure high availability and system performance
- Ensure reliability, traceability, and security throughout all phases of the deployment pipeline
- Collaborate closely with developers and system engineers to optimize and troubleshoot CI/CD workflows
- Resolve build and deployment issues quickly and effectively, particularly in production environments
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, SOC 2, and other regulatory standards
- Document systems, processes, and configurations to ensure transparency and audit-readiness
- Support scrum teams with release tooling and CI/CD guidance
- Identify and close gaps in automation to improve pipeline performance and reliability
- Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to support team objectives and ensure the success of the project
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with the Department of Veterans Affairs or federal healthcare systems is a plus
- Experience in SAFe/Agile software development
- Ability to obtain a Federal Government clearance
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS DevOps Engineer, Certified Jenkins Engineer) are a plus
