Civil Project Engineer II/III

Based in Raleigh, NC, or remotely, you will perform routine and complex design of steel piles, steel connections, and cast-in-place concrete slabs. You will assist with project scope, schedule, budget, management, and marketing/proposal development. A Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required, along with 2+ years of solar structure design experience. A PE license is a plus. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required, Master’s degree preferred
• 2+ years of solar structure design experience required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in structural design software packages, specifically LPile, Mathcad, Excel
• Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD for plan development

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex design of steel piles and steel connections
• Perform routine and complex design of cast-in-place concrete slabs
• Understanding of general renewable energy nomenclature
• Assist with the development of scope, schedule and budgets for projects
• Assist with the management of projects and tasks
• Assist with marketing and proposal development

Preferred Qualifications

• PE License is a plus
• Proficiency with Excel/AutoCAD interoperability to create pile plot plans is as plus
