Summary

The job is for a Civil/Structural Forensic Engineer who will conduct investigations, manage projects, and prepare reports. This position requires effective prioritization, independent thinking, clear communication, analytical work, cooperation, sound judgment, flexibility, and strong relationships. The candidate must have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil/Structural engineering, be a Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.), have at least 2+ years of Forensic Investigation and Forensic Experience, be computer software capable (MathCAD, AutoCAD, MS Office), and have Industrial/Manufacturing/Construction/Design Experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil/Structural engineering
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) is a MUST
• 2+ Years of Forensic Investigation and Forensic Experience is a MUST
• Computer Software Capable (for example: MathCAD, AutoCAD, MS Office)

Responsibilities

• Conduct and manage investigations involving buildings, structures, and structural components
• Perform structural analysis, damage assessment, building code compliance, lab and field testing of construction materials, and review of structural designs
• Interact with clients and other consultants
• Manage multiple and unique projects
• Prepare written reports summarizing your analyses

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced Technical Education degrees (a plus)
• Industrial/Manufacturing/Construction/Design Experience
