Requirements
- 2-4 years of IT auditing experience
- Experience with the CJIS Security Policy
- Working knowledge of the NIST 800-53 security framework
- Working knowledge of IT Infrastructure and security technologies
- Ability to maintain client and data confidentiality
- Can confidently pass rigorous fingerprint-based state and federal background screenings, as required by the nationwide agencies we work with (mandatory)
- Currently reside in one of these states: FL, GA, IL, KS, KY, MO, NC, NJ, NY, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA
- Do not require sponsorship to work in the U.S.; sponsorship is not available for this position
Responsibilities
- Leading state audit projects
- Conducting Criminal Justice Agency Audits
- Conducting Non-Criminal Justice Agency Audits
- Developing project work plans and coordinate audit schedules
- Developing state CJIS processes
- Updating client CJIS documentation
- Communicating with agencies regarding upcoming audits
- Supporting local agencies as they complete their audits through calls and emails
- Organizing and reading through client documentation to verify compliance
- Analyzing a client's existing policies for compliance and areas of improvement
- Creating audit and compliance reports for clients
