Claims Property Advocate, Dwelling

Summary

Join Lemonade as a CLX Property Advocate to efficiently settle large property losses. You will investigate and handle dwelling and condo claims, ensuring fair and prompt payments while maintaining excellent customer service. Responsibilities include communicating claim decisions, settling all claim aspects, adhering to policy and compliance guidelines, and identifying subrogation opportunities. You will need at least two years of technical claims handling experience, expertise in handling large losses, and experience with national property service vendors. Requirements

• Minimum of 2+ years of technical claims handling experience, with a background in fire, water, and weather claims
• Extensive experience handling losses valued at over $10K, of all kinds
• Extensive experience handling large inventories of contents
• Prior knowledge in dwelling damage
• Experience working with large national property service vendors like Serv-Pro, First Team, Contractor Connection, and Crawford
• Experience handling claims with suspicious flags
• A passion for outstanding customer experience
• Comfortable with and adaptable to new technology and business tools
• Licensed as a Property & Casualty adjuster in your resident state
• College Degree
• Ability to work remotely

Responsibilities

• Investigate and handle dwelling and condo claims from start to finish
• Pay claims efficiently and fairly while maintaining a high level of customer service, communicating with customers on claims decisions by email and phone
• Settle all aspects of a claim including: Dwelling claims, condo claims, contents, and ALE
• Handle claims accurately according to the policy, and all state-required compliance guidelines
• Follow best practices around reporting large losses to internal and external business partners
• Review mitigation and pack out bills
• Identify subrogation opportunities within the claims-handling process
• Organize and prioritize daily tasks in order to resolve claim-based questions
• Be a subject matter expert in all perils

Benefits

Lemonade’s US base salary range for this full time position is $60,000 - $72,000 annually plus equity + benefits
