Client Partner/Account Executive - Retail/Consumer

This role focuses on selling to CPG and Retail enterprises, utilizing a consultative sales approach to build and maintain long-term customer relationships. You will manage existing accounts, expand enterprise accounts, and contribute to achieving strategic market goals. Responsibilities include engaging with C-level executives and below, representing Celonis' solutions, and meeting individual revenue targets. Success requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and partners. The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in SaaS/enterprise software sales or management consulting, strong business acumen, and excellent communication skills.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience selling SaaS/ enterprise business software to senior stakeholders, preferably at C-level (CFO, CPO, COO…) in a new business focused field sales role
- Or 5+ years of experience in management/business process consulting with responsibility to secure new project wins
- Experienced in managing enterprise accounts and building trusted relationships with senior LOB stakeholders
- Experience in working with partners, i.e. consulting firms or enterprise tech providers
- Strong business acumen with a solid understanding of business processes and KPIs - especially within Finance and Supply Chain
- Creative and analytical ability to anticipate and identify use cases within enterprises
- Solid understanding of the Retail and/or Consumer industry
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in German (fluent) and English
- Ability to adapt to a fast moving, ever changing, high growth environment and approach challenges with positivity, creative thinking and a growth mindset

Responsibilities
- Manage your accounts from an existing customer perspective, land-and-expand is the typical model
- Engage cross line-of-business at C-level and below
- Represent the entire Celonis suite of solutions with a focus on our sales motions for Finance and Supply Chain
- Hold an individual revenue target for closing six-seven-figure deals within your accounts
- Engage closely with partners e.g, consulting firms and SaaS vendors
- Drive complex sales cycles through orchestrating virtual teams including business development representatives, marketing managers, partner managers, sales engineers / pre-sales, customer success managers, professional services, implementation partners…
