Summary

Join Carda Health as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist and deliver exceptional care to patients in our virtual cardiac rehab program. You will evaluate prescriptions, manage patient caseloads, respond to alerts, review patient data, complete documentation and billing, and design exercise programs. Collaborate with founders and the technology team to enhance our digital care model. This role requires a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Physiology (Master's preferred), ACSM certification (preferred), and 1+ years of clinical experience in an in-person Cardiopulmonary Rehab Facility. You will need strong anatomy and physiology skills, proficiency with mobile technology, and excellent interpersonal skills. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Physiology or equivalent (Master’s preferred)
  • ACSM certification (preferred)
  • Minimum 1+ years of relevant clinical experience and top performance working as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist at an in-person Cardiopulmonary Rehab Facility
  • Possess strong anatomy and physiology skills
  • Above average proficiency working with mobile technology - you will be helping guide patients through our digital health programs including troubleshooting their technology issues with wearables and tablets
  • Great interpersonal skills that foster a caring environment for patients
  • Diligence and organization with the ability to create and adhere to repeatable processes
  • Ability to perform with little direction in a high-growth, early stage startup (ie self-driven)
  • Attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate prescriptions and treat cardiac/pulmonary rehab patients according to our clinical protocols
  • Manage a caseload of patients in our Phase 3 maintenance program, driving adherence, patient satisfaction, and continued progress for patients who have graduated from our Phase 2 program
  • Be responsible for responding to alerts and improving adherence to patients participation in vitals monitoring as part of our Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) program
  • Review SpO2 readings from patients participating in our Overnight Pulse Oximetry Monitoring (ONPO) program
  • Complete necessary documentation and billing claims for Phase 3 rehab sessions, RPM encounters, and ONPO reports
  • Wear many hats: anything from designing patients’ exercise programming to responding to their technical issues
  • Work directly with founders to innovate and improve our cutting edge digital care delivery model
  • Work collaboratively with our technology team to support a smooth experience for our patients and clients
  • Be willing to do whatever it takes to ensure a great, engaging rehab experience for our patients
  • Take pride in delivering high quality care for patients going through our rehab program
  • Provide support to our patients, empowering them to be accountable and take ownership of their rehabilitation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Spanish language proficiency
  • Experience working in clinical studies
  • Remote work experience
