Cloud API Developer, Remote - Romania

Summary

The job is for an experienced software engineer based in Europe to develop cloud services for data protection in various SaaS applications. The role involves building connectors, researching APIs, working with product management, and ensuring defensive coding, logging, and monitoring. The candidate should have relevant experience and knowledge in backend code development, Rest APIs, algorithms, data structures, distributed system design, and Linux.

Requirements

• 4 years+ experience in backend code development
• 2+ years experience using Rest APIs from relevant SaaS service providers (Google Drive, Office 365, Dropbox, Box, Salesforce, Slack, etc.)
• Good knowledge of algorithms and data structures
• Good knowledge of distributed system design
• Experience with Linux required

Responsibilities

• Build connectors in Golang using Rest APIs to monitor and protect data in cloud applications at scale
• Build functionality end to end, from the early specification phase to testing and monitoring
• Research APIs provided by cloud services and identify the potential for integration in our product
• Work with product management to fine-tune specifications and scheduling
• Mitigate risks through defensive coding, logging and monitoring

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Golang is a plus, but not a strict requirement
