Cloud Architect

Summary

The job is for a Pulumi Cloud Architect to collaborate with strategic customers, design and implement tailored solutions using Pulumi's technology, and act as a trusted advisor. The role requires 8+ years of hands-on experience in software development for cloud infrastructure or related functions, proficiency in Python, Pulumi, AWS or GCP services, Kubernetes, and strong team collaboration skills.

Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in software development for cloud infrastructure or highly relatable functions involving scoping, prioritizing and managing cloud architecture and engineering deliverables
• Strong proficiency in Python software development
• Proven experience working with Pulumi to deploy and manage cloud infrastructure
• Deep familiarity with core web infrastructure, application modernization and software development best practices, Open Source technologies, public and private cloud platforms
• Strong proficiency in AWS or GCP services including compute, networking, storage, and security
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including cluster deployment, configuration, and management

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with a strategic customer to understand their infrastructure needs
• Design, architect, and implement Pulumi-based solutions that meet customers’ specific needs and industry best practices
