Summary

Join our fast-growing Fintech startup as a Cloud DevOps Engineer and help revolutionize the Trade Finance industry. Working remotely from a nearshore location, you will design, build, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure, develop CI/CD pipelines, and implement serverless technologies. You will leverage your expertise in Terraform, Helm, and Kubernetes to automate tasks and ensure high system reliability. This role requires 3+ years of DevOps or Cloud Engineering experience with strong AWS skills and proficiency in Python. Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a DevOps or Cloud Engineering role
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services (e.g., Lambda, S3, ECS/EKS, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.)
  • Advanced knowledge of Linux systems and shell scripting
  • Proficient in Python for scripting and automation
  • Deep experience with Terraform, Helm, and managing Kubernetes clusters
  • Solid background in CI/CD pipeline development using tools like Circle CI, or Jenkins
  • Understanding of monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
  • Experience with secure cloud architecture and implementation of best practices in cloud security

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure, with the goal of building a multi-cloud environment including Azure
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support rapid, reliable, and secure deployments
  • Implement and manage serverless technologies such as AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and Aurora Serverless
  • Use Terraform and Helm to define infrastructure as code and support container orchestration
  • Automate operational tasks and cloud workflows using Python scripting
  • Monitor cloud environments for performance, availability, and cost optimization
  • Apply best practices in cloud security, compliance, and governance
  • Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure infrastructure is aligned with application needs
  • Participate in on-call rotations and incident response, ensuring high system reliability

Preferred Qualifications

  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional
  • Other AWS or Azure certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer)
  • Knowledge of Trade Finance or financial services is a plus
  • Experience with cloud security certifications or practices (e.g., AWS Security Specialty, CIS Benchmarks)
