This remote position, based in Latin America or Eastern Europe, focuses on designing, building, and managing AWS cloud infrastructure, with a goal of building a multi-cloud environment including Azure. Requirements
- Immediate joiner with 3+ years of experience in a DevOps Engineering role on Cloud
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services (e.g., Lambda, S3, ECS/EKS, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.)
- Familiarity with Azure cloud services is a plus
- Advanced knowledge of Linux systems and shell scripting
- Proficient in Python for scripting and automation
- Deep experience with Terraform, Helm, and managing Kubernetes clusters
- Solid background in CI/CD pipeline development using tools like Circle CI, or Jenkins
- Understanding of monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
- Experience with secure cloud architecture and implementation of best practices in cloud security
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure, with the goal of building a multi-cloud environment including Azure
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support rapid, reliable, and secure deployments
- Implement and manage serverless technologies such as AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and Aurora Serverless
- Use Terraform and Helm to define infrastructure as code and support container orchestration
- Automate operational tasks and cloud workflows using Python scripting
- Monitor cloud environments for performance, availability, and cost optimization
- Apply best practices in cloud security, compliance, and governance
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure infrastructure is aligned with application needs
- Participate in on-call rotations and incident response, ensuring high system reliability
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer β Professional
- Other AWS or Azure certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer)
- Experience with cloud security certifications or practices (e.g., AWS Security Specialty, CIS Benchmarks)
- Knowledge of Trade Finance or financial services is a plus
