Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in cloud engineering or a related field
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and services
• Strong knowledge of containerizing applications (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
• Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Windows servers and services
• Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Terraform)
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage public cloud infrastructure and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and private cloud infrastructure and services
• Monitor and optimize cloud performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency
• Implement and manage security measures to protect cloud environments
• Build and manage deployment pipelines using common CI/CD tools
• Automate cloud operations and workflows using scripting and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud services
• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues and incidents
• Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and best practices
• Document cloud and system configurations, procedures, and changes

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect) are highly desirable
• Demonstrates self-reliance by meeting/exceeding workflow needs
• Demonstrates positive attitude and motivation, concern for students, teamwork, and excellent time management skills
• Follows established processes as outlined by organization and leadership
• Completes assigned duties based on daily business needs and individual skill set
• Consistently produces a high volume of quality work

• Proven ability to work independently with limited supervision and with other department personnel
