Cloud Fault Tracing Engineer

Summary

The job is for a Cloud Fault Tracing Engineer who will identify, diagnose, and resolve faults within an automotive cloud platform using the latest tech stack. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and working with monitoring and fault tracing tools.

Requirements

• BSc degree or higher in engineering, or equivalent experience
• Fluent English
• Knowledge on AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Envoy, Istio
• Knowledge on Jira, GitLab, GitHub, Maven, GitOps, Argo CD
• Knowledge on Splunk, Linux/ssh/bash, Grafana

Responsibilities

• Identify, diagnose, and resolve faults within our automotive cloud platform
• Provide satisfaction to our customer by contributing to improve their experience
• Serve as a subject matter expert for cloud support for the support teams
• Talk to a lot of people in order to understand the inner working of some services
• Set-up test equipment such as cars and rigs to reproduce your issue
• Be well connected to know ahead what changes are getting implemented
• Build solid documentation on how to solve some misconfiguration you identify
• Help design interface and tools to make support easier and faster

Preferred Qualifications

• Good communication skills; the ability to share ideas verbally in a clear, concise manner to both technical specialists and people without technical knowledge
• Strong collaboration skills
• Structured and analytical way of taking on tasks and performing on a daily basis in a result oriented way
