Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Requirements

• Proven experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms
• Relevant cloud certifications or ability to obtain them within 6 months of hire
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in cloud infrastructure engineering
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture, networking, and security
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with MS Windows, Linux, and databases
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement scalable and secure cloud infrastructure solutions using AWS and Azure
• Analyze and review existing cloud implementations to identify areas for improvement
• Collaborate with key stakeholders and developers to understand data processing requirements and plan deployments
• Develop and implement comprehensive BCDR solutions to ensure business continuity
• Ensure the reliability, performance, and security of cloud environments
• Automate cloud infrastructure tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual efforts
• Monitor and manage cloud infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and availability
• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues in a timely manner
• Take initiative and be self-sufficient in achieving business goals
• Coordinate with developers, security, networking, and other IT professionals to ensure cohesive and comprehensive solutions
• Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and best practices
