Cloud Network Engineer

Requirements

• Proven experience working as a Network Engineer with a strong focus on AWS network firewall, Terraform, AWS Security Hub
• Experience with Palo Alto Panorama and F5 Big IP is highly desirable
• Proficiency in designing, implementing, and managing secure and scalable network architectures in AWS
• Extensive experience with Terraform for defining and managing infrastructure as code
• In-depth knowledge of AWS Security Hub and its integration with various AWS services
• Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, switching, VPN, and security protocols
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage network architecture in AWS, leveraging AWS network firewall solutions to ensure robust security
• Help architect a solution that replaces current Palo Alto Panorama and F5 Big IP network components
• Utilize Terraform to define and manage network infrastructure as code, ensuring scalability, repeatability, and maintainability
• Help configure and optimize the AWS Security Hub into the network architecture to monitor, detect, and respond to security threats effectively
• Collaborate with DevOps and software engineering teams to understand application requirements and provide networking solutions that meet their needs
• Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to network security and cloud infrastructure
