Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with management and support of Layer 2, 3, 4 and 7 network devices (bare metal and virtual)
  • Knowledge in network routing protocols, firewalls and security products
  • Ability to prioritize and work individually and as part of a team
  • Strong troubleshooting skills including the ability to identify and resolve challenging situations
  • Passion for learning technologies and curiosity for new ideas
  • Ability to think outside the box and develop creative solutions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Outstanding service and response time when working with customers and internal teams

Responsibilities

  • Manage and support Layer 2, 3, 4 and 7 network devices (bare metal and virtual)
  • Set up virtual private networks (Client-to-Site and Site-to-Site)
  • Configure and troubleshoot Load Balancers like Netscaler/F5 Big-IP
  • Work with Cisco hardware devices (Nexus switches, routers)
  • Work with Barracuda hardware devices (Firewall)
  • Work with Cloud Networking (AWS/Azure/Google)
  • Prioritize and work individually and as part of a team
  • Work independently with little guidance
  • Troubleshoot and resolve challenging situations
  • Provide outstanding service and response time when working with customers and internal teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding concepts behind SD-WAN/SD-LAN
  • Holding Professional level industry certification
  • Managing office and wireless networks
  • Automation skills
  • Operating system (Windows/Linux)
  • Experience with iSCSI
