Requirements

• Education: Bachelor/Master’s in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field preferred
• Experience: 5-7 years of SAP Basis Experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
• Skills: Strong understanding of banking processes and regulatory requirements, especially in the LATAM region
• SAP certifications are welcome
• Knowledge of cloud-based SAP solutions (SAP on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, automation tools (Ansible, Terraform), and ITIL processes
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to manage and motivate the team
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Cloud mindset
• Proficiency in English and Spanish, both written and verbal

Responsibilities

• Lead and Mentor: Guide and mentor a team of SAP Fioneer Cloud Platform consultants, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment
• Team Coordination: Coordinate team schedules and resources to ensure consistent support and maximum system uptime across all active projects in the region
• Project and Goal Management: Conduct regular team meetings to discuss progress, manage project assignments, and track team and individual goals, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives
• System Oversight: Oversee the installation, upgrade, patching, and performance tuning of SAP systems, ensuring smooth and efficient operations
• Best Practice Implementation: Implement SAP best practices to ensure high availability, robust backup and recovery procedures, and effective disaster recovery plans for all systems
• System Monitoring and Maintenance: Proactively monitor SAP systems and perform preventive maintenance to optimize performance, address potential issues before they impact users, and ensure reliability
• Security and Compliance: Ensure that all SAP systems are secure and fully compliant with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements, maintaining the integrity of sensitive data and operations
