Remote Cloud Systems Architect

Summary

CGS is hiring a Mid-level, Full-Time Cloud Systems Architect to engineer and support public, private, and hybrid clouds using various cloud hosts including Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable of cloud management strategies and security, proficient in multiple programming languages, and have experience with migrating applications to the cloud. Requirements

• Experience with and a complete understanding of the technology required for cloud computing
• Experience with the skills to migrate applications to the cloud
• Ability and knowledge to integrate services and tools to any and all areas such as networks and data processing
• Experience with meeting or exceeding the requirements of cloud provider service-level agreements
• Knowledge of a multitude of programming languages including Python, PHP, Java, Node and Ruby on Rails

Responsibilities

• Engineer and support public, private and hybrid clouds using various cloud hosts including Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure
• Act as an advisor to the customer in reference to cloud management strategies
• Work with the IT Security team to manage and maintain cloud systems security
• Designs and defines system architecture for new or existing complex computer systems
