Join Network Optix's growing Cloud Web QA team as an experienced Manual QA Engineer. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our Cloud Portal and Cloud services. This involves a full cycle of manual testing, integration testing, and regression testing of web/cloud products. You will develop test cases, review specifications and autotests, and collaborate with various teams. The ideal candidate possesses 5+ years of testing experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and a deep understanding of web technologies. Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in testing: Experience in designing, writing and executing test cases
- Ability and tenacity to reproduce complicated issues
- Ability to provide precise steps for reproducing bugs
- Critical thinking skills to identify shortcomings and weaknesses of products and solutions, and understand how to improve them
- Desire and ability to independently understand product/application areas and solve complex issues
- Developed communication skills to communicate with colleagues from other departments, provide constructive feedback, and defend your point of view
- Knowledge and understanding of how the Web works - what is HTML and CSS, how HTTP and HTTPS differ, how regular sites and SPAs work
Responsibilities
- Perform a full cycle of manual testing of new features: from reviewing documentation and planning to testing the last bug and confirming the feature's readiness
- Conduct integration testing of Web/Cloud products with other company products (VMS Server & Desktop Client, Mobile Client)
- Perform regression testing of Web/Cloud products
- Develop test cases to cover the functionality of Web/Cloud products
- Check autotests for coverage of test cases developed by you and other engineers (in the future)
Preferred Qualifications
- Desire to learn and grow as a quality assurance engineer, supported by real actions (studying theory, passing specialized courses)
- ISTQB - Foundation Level (certificate is a plus)
- Experience in using developer tools in various browsers
- Knowledge of one of the virtualization applications (like VirtualBox, Vmware or Docker)
- Experience with usability testing
- Familiarity with Ubuntu OS or other Linux systems; understanding of working on the command line
