Collateral Agent SME

Summary

Join NTT DATA, a leading technology company, as a Collateral Agent SME to work remotely on a global banking client project. Provide techno-functional expertise during the Discovery phase, establishing a Collateral Agency. Conduct gap analysis, design technical architecture, define technical requirements (including Loan IQ), and collaborate with stakeholders. Develop a comprehensive implementation plan, and establish policies and protocols for default scenarios. This role requires extensive experience in collateral agency within large financial institutions and in-depth knowledge of U.S. market practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience implementing/acting in the collateral agent role within large financial institutions
• In-depth knowledge of collateral agency practices specific to the U.S. market
• Strong coordination skills across legal, financial, and operational functions
• Expertise in syndicated deals, both from a participant and agent perspective
• Hands-on experience working within collateral/security agent roles across various entities
• Knowledge of collateral valuation methodologies and reporting frequency to lenders
• Familiarity with different collateral types, including borrowing bases, accounts receivable, and commodities

• Conducting gap analysis to assess infrastructure, software needs, and operational processes
• Designing the proposed technical architecture for effective implementation
• Defining technical requirements, including Loan IQ and impacted systems
• Collaborating with business stakeholders to shape the Target Operating Model
• Developing a comprehensive implementation plan for successful execution
• Establishing policies and protocols for default scenarios and guarantee execution
