Summary
Join Zensurance's growing Renewals team as a Renewals Specialist, mentoring junior brokers and collaborating across teams to drive success. Reporting to the Practice Leader, Renewals, you will be responsible for managing client renewals, ensuring policy accuracy, and meeting individual and team targets. You will also contribute to leadership tasks such as training and process improvements. This role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills, along with extensive experience in commercial broking and specific insurance coverages. Requirements
- RIBO license required
- 7+ years of commercial broking experience
- Subject matter expertise in CGL insurance, and confident knowledge in commercial property, E&O & Med/Mal coverages
- Passion for sales and customer support
- Persistence and agility to meet set targets
- Able to communicate complicated concepts and break them down into simpler terms
- Attention for detail and demonstrated flexibility in managing multiple clients at a time
Responsibilities
- Assess renewal clients' needs, including needs analysis, risk consultation, and coverage recommendations
- Carefully review all accounts policy data for accuracy
- Manage multiple clients and answer all customer queries regarding additional or existing insurance policies in a timely manner
- Maintain effective communication with clients to fully understand their insurance requirements and make recommendations accordingly
- Take on full lead volume and hit individual target expectations while supporting the overall team to achieve team targets
- Work across multiple renewal teams to own and assist renewals in various departments
- Act as one of the primary points of contact within the renewal team to assist junior team members with inquiries and questions
- Be a key resource for the team for insurance coverage questions and assist the team with larger and more complex files
- Be responsible for maintaining insurance and insurer relationships
- Negotiate with insurers on coverage and represent direct team members as product and market experts
- Assist in leading renewal market relationships, including regular meetings, partnering with new business leaders to find new markets to fill gaps, and sharing market updates and information across the renewal squads
- Other duties as assigned
