Requirements

3-5 years in community engagement, ideally with nonprofit or public advocacy experience

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive outreach programs to engage local communities
• Coordinate with diverse community groups and stakeholders to understand their needs and concerns
• Manage and nurture partnerships with community organizations, businesses, and government agencies
• Increase awareness of Govuni's services through various marketing and communication channels
• Plan, organize, and execute community events, workshops, and educational programs
• Create and maintain relationships with key community leaders and influencers
• Develop and manage budgets for outreach initiatives and community projects
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of outreach programs, adjusting strategies as needed
• Prepare detailed reports on outreach activities, outcomes, and community impact
• Represent Govuni at community meetings, local events, and public forums
• Collaborate with internal teams to align outreach efforts with organizational goals and objectives
• Identify and pursue new opportunities for community engagement and service expansion
• Train, supervise, and mentor outreach staff and volunteers to ensure high-quality program delivery
